The West Brisbane Orchid Society Inc.

Founded in 1965, the West Brisbane Orchid Society Inc is a respected not-for-profit society dedicated to the care, cultivation and appreciation of orchids.  With a long standing commitment to knowledge sharing, community and excellence in orchid growing, the Society brings together enthusiasts of all levels – from new growers to experienced collectors.

Twice a year, our society proudly hosts spectacular Orchid Shows in the auditorium at the beautiful Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens - a celebration of colour, creativity, and the incredible diversity of orchids grown by our members.

Membership

The West Brisbane Orchid Society Inc. welcomes new members. Visitors are welcome to attend the general meetings for several months before deciding to join our society.
